About GHS

Integration

In March 2020 the parents of Glengormley High School voted overwhelmingly for Transformation to Integrated Status – the first post-primary school here to undertake the process in over 10 years.

We’ve embarked on this journey because we truly believe that the future of Northern Ireland lies in children from all backgrounds and cultures being educated together. By working and growing together we can build a brighter future for our country.

  • As a transforming school, we welcome young people from all faiths and none to learn together as one community.
  • An integrated ethos of respect, tolerance and equality permeates all that we do and provides unique opportunities for the development of every child.
  • Children learn to work together in a community of acceptance and diversity, where difference is celebrated.
  • Together, we work to enable every child to face challenges, be confident, to be innovators, to be curious and pursue their dreams.

Support our Case for Change

As part of our ‘Case for Change’ we are asking our Parents to have their say and voice their support for an integrated future for our school.
We ask our parents to email their support for Development Proposal 660 to: dps@education-ni.gov.uk
