Fuzzy Slime Fun at the Science Shack

This week in the Science Shack Mr Gault and his team of apprentice scientists continued to explore slime – this time the slime was not just slimy but it was fuzzy!

Year 13 Student wins Gold!!!

Daina has won the Tryst Championships. She competed in three individual bouts against girls of similar age and weight

to win Gold during Friday’s (22nd September) event in Scotland.

We would like to congratulate Daina on this fantastic achievement.

Duke of Edinburgh

Glengormley High School provides students with the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This Extra-Curricular programme allows students to experience a variety of new skills and challenge themselves in an outdoor setting.
Glengormley High School is also very proud to be one of the only schools in Northern Ireland to offer participants the chance to complete the Expedition section of the award by canoe as well as hillwalking creating a unique experience.

Cookery Club

Cookery club is offered to Year 8-10 pupils every Thursday from 3.00-4.00pm in 11S and 13S. It gives all pupils the opportunity to build on the skills and knowledge they gain in their Home Economics lessons.

Both Miss McGregor and Mrs McReynolds take a group of 20 pupils each. It has been a great success so far this year.
